The last round of the America's Cup was held this morning (09) in Lima, Peru. In the match that was worth the vice-leadership of group A, Uruguay went on to open 3-0 on the scoreboard, but took the tie of Guatemala in the second stage, closing by 3 to 3. In the Shoot-Outs, the Uruguayans won with the goal marked by Loco Martínez.
With the result, Guatemala was in second place in Group A, with seven points. The Guatemalans decide the third place of the championship soon the night, against Mexico. Uruguay, however, finished third with four points.
In the other game of the group, Chile and Argentina made a well balanced game. The Argentines started better, but in the second half La Roja was superior and won by 5 to 3. The two teams finished their participation in the last two places of group A, with Argentina in the last position.
